Thank you for taking the time to look at my website, which represents a handful of the many thousands of images I have taken that I'm happy with! It's always satisfying when someone else likes one (or more) of them too, and I hope you enjoy looking at the world through my eyes.
I live and work in Wiltshire and, time permitting, I supply two photo agencies with stock images: one is a specialist horticulture library, the other a general subject agency. My images have been used in magazines, newspapers, books, calendars and various other types of media. I have had prints displayed at exhibitions held around the country, including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (twice), and have written and illustrated articles for the Outdoor Photography magazine. My images have also appeared in the following publications:
The English Garden
BBC Gardeners’ World
BBC Easy Gardening
BBC History magazine
National Trust magazine
The Daily Telegraph
and the following competitions:
2nd place in the Plant Portrait category in the 2007 RHS Photographic Competition for my 'Crocuses in Snow' image.
Finalist in the Plant Portrait category in the IGPOTY02 (2009) competition for my 'Reflected Reed Stems' image.
Commended in the New Mornings catergory in the IGPOTY05 (2011) competition for my 'Crocuses' image.
